Tecomate Properties, based out of Destin, FL, is the real estate division of Tecomate Wildlife Services. Tecomate became well known through the food plot systems they developed on their own south Texas ranches, El Tecomate Ranch and El Cazador. Through proper nutrition and management of the deer herds there, company founders David Morris and Gary Schwatz grew monster whitetail bucks, all native under a low fence system. Tecomate sells bags of its patented seed mixes to public, and, through its wildlife biologist Rans Thomas, offers professional consulting and game management plans for landowners throughout the country too.
The company's popularity naturally developed into The Bucks of Tecomate in 2007, which is a TV hunting show co-hosted by David Morris and comedian Jeff Foxworthy. Currently featured on the Versus Network, this program is one of the top hunting shows on the air today.
